Volunteers:

Most of the work done by Hancock Saves is through individuals committed to helping our community save and reduce debt. No previous experience is required for any of our 3 volunteer positions. All necessary training and support is provided by Hancock Saves.

Wealth Coaches work one-on-one with Hancock Savers to help them decide on financial goals and encourage persistence in those goals. Wealth Coaches also offer advice and tips on how to find money to save and stick to financial goals.

Workshop Speakers lead workshops to encourage participants to think about personal financial goals and introduce the benefits of Hancock Saves. Some Workshop Speakers also offer workshops on specific topics of interest or expertise such as homebuying, credit and debt, insurance, retirement, etc.

Working Group members meet monthly to discuss and plan annual Hancock Saves events and campaigns. Members serve on one of three committees: education, communication, parterships.
